Physician’s
Assistant Joins Regional Orthopaedic Health Care
H. Rice Handley, a board certified
Physician’s
Assistant, has joined the staff of Regional Orthopaedic
Health Care, said Dr. Thomas Knox.
Mr. Handley is licensed to practice medicine with
physician guidance and supervision and will see patients
by appointment. He has a background in nursing and
theology. Mr. Handley has been in the medical profession
for over 22 years.
“The addition of Mr. Handley will provide greater
access and efficiency for the patients of Regional
Orthopaedic Health Care and enhance the continuity
of patient care,” said Dr. Knox.
Mr. Handley holds a master’s
degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the School
of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University
of North Dakota in Grand Forks. His undergraduate
degree in nursing is from East Central University
in Ada, Oklahoma and
also holds a Bachelor of Theology degree from International
Bible College in San Antonio, Texas.
Mr. Handley is certified by the National Commission
on Certification of Physician Assistants and by the
American Society of Orthopaedic Professionals in Orthopaedic
Technology and Orthopaedic Casting and Bracing.
Mr. Handley and his wife Becky are originally from
Oklahoma. They have four children and five grandchildren.
He previously worked as a Physician Assistant at the
Family Practice Center, Chickasaw Nation Health System
in Ada, Oklahoma. |
